Alternate Law Manager Configuration Instructions

Sometimes the Law Manager installshield wizard will fail during the final steps of installation. The setup will normally require a reboot which fully registers the application with the system. For some systems however, the setup just ends abruptly without prompting for a reboot. In this scenario, the software is installed but the web components are not appropriately registered. If you are experiencing this issue, please perform the following steps below to finish the Law Manager configuration:

1. Using the mouse, click and drag over the contents of the box located to the right to highlight the entire section.

regsvr32 lm2000plug.ocx
cd "C:\Program Files\Law Manager, Inc.\LawManager.Pro"
lm2000 /regserver
EXIT

2. Within the Internet Explorer Web browser, click the Edit Menu and select Copy

3. Click the start Menu, select run.

4. Type CMD followed by the ENTER key. This will start a command prompt window.

5. Click on the upper-left icon of the window, click edit and click paste
